Sending you...

Have you ever had someone stuck in a rut and all you wanted to do was just send them happiness? I have and do have people like that in my life..this card is for them.

This gorgeous image is Moon Glow by Hannah Lynn. I won some digi stamps from Crafts & Me awhile ago and have been itching to color them up. Hannah Lynn has an interesting style that really comes to life when colored.

Needless to say, I had a lot of fun coloring Moon Glow with my Copics. I even went as far as to ask my sambo what color her wings and hair should be. He gave me pretty good answers! I love her silver hair. I've tried that before and only kept to C-1 for it, but this time I went all the way down to C-5 to give dimension. I love how it turned out - not too old and grey, but light and silvery like I wanted. He even had the idea of having the wings be a red-to-orange color, which I had to test it out on my scratch paper first, but really love how that turned out.

I'm not too thrilled about my layout though, it seems like the proportions are just all wrong. Moon Glow should be much bigger or something. Ah well, I am thoroughly guilty of not being able to see the forest through threes, until I go to post it on the blog. :)

One of these days I'll actually take a break from posting, but I always have to share when I create something. I use the blog for not only connecting with like-minded people, but also as a written diary of my creations for me to peruse later. Until then, thanks for stopping by!
