Believe in hope...

It is a lovely Saturday and I have been up since 9 cleaning and cleaning and cleaning. I'm pooped! I thought that while I take a break before starting on my studies for today I will share with you a lovely card I made for Throwback Thursday at Tiddly Inks.

This is Always the Flower Girl, which I have used before. I love how easy she is to color and how verastile. I did have another card made for my Throwback Thursday, but I submitted it to a magazine for a technique and then realized that I shouldn't publish the card on line yet! (More about that little bit later.)

I colored her in my Copics in vintagy tones. In better lighting, the tones are more brown than this glaring red, so they create a nice subtle vintage look. The layout is from Graphicat Sketch Challenges. It was a nice and funky little sketch. I'm always looking out for new sketches! I used an old swirl stamp on the left side, then embossed (accidentally) only half of it. Of course the side that got embossed was the bottom half!

Before I head to studying....or maybe a new blog redesign (haha) I want to remind everyone about the GORGEOUS Clear Stamp releases at Tiddly Inks. Seriously, you don't want to miss these!

Challenges I hope to enter:
Sketch Challenge #20 @ Graphicat Sketchs
Challenge #117 - Vintage @ Crafts and Me
